Looks about right to me. It should be noted, however, that only two teams with fewer than 19 wins (Northwestern at 18-13 and Cal with a 17-14 record) were among the 32-team NIT field last year.
OU might get a NIT at-large bid with four more wins, but I wouldn't want to count on it. I think we have to win at least 18 games to have a legitimate shot at playing in the post season. Seventeen wins and winning a couple of rounds in the conference tournament might do it, too. Anything short of one of those two scenarios will likely leave our players home watching both tournaments on television with the rest of us.
