K guys Summit League championship is tonight between NDSU and SDSU. Bracketology has us going up against the winner (a 14 seed), which could end up being the Bison (minus their gazillion seniors from last year). In case of a rematch, we should take em this year, right?

I could absolutely be talking outa my ass on this...but I don't think the Committee would allow that. I'm pretty sure they don't want the same matchup from a year before. I think they would purposely put them in a different bracket. Jmo

Unless it's BYU and Texas A&M.

Yes the Sooners should beat either of those teams but it would be fun to beat NDSU now. That loss still sucks to think about. It's the tourney though and you cant be guaranteed of any win.

Texas obliterated NDSU in non-con play.

SDSU is the clear favorite in that matchup with NDSU.

Yep....game is being played in Sioux Falls I believe (homecourt advantage for SDSU). SDSU also won the regular season title. Though I would love a little revenge on the Bison after last year.

Here's the link to the principles and procedures of selection:

The relevant language is on page 5: "If possible, rematches from the previous two tournaments should be avoided in the second round." In this case, "second round" means the round of 64, or what most of us traditionally think of as the "first round." In short, it's unlikely, though not impossible, that OU would be matched up again vs. NDSU in the round of 64.

After the Bison won, Lunardi has them as a 15 seed and moved Albany up to play us.
