I agree. Also a friend went to father son camp fri -sat. Said he talked with a few OU people while there. Kur weighs right around 215. Doo and Manek right around 230 with Manek being a couple pounds heavier than Doo. I remember reading during the big 12 season that Manek was sick over an extended period and dropped below 205 lbs during the season. He said Doo and Manek both looked in great shape

If this happens to be the case, I would much rather Doolittle guard the other team's 3 when on defense rather than Manek. I'm more comfortable with Manek in the post or baseline as opposed to the wing on defense.

We were very good defensively last year, and did mix in more zone as the season went on. But with more athleticism this year, more zone may not be likely.

I heard Kur looks great going up and down the court. We will have to see where his skill level is. He and Manek are bigger and stronger.

Yeah I regretted leaving Reaves off as soon as I posted this. Those two will both definitely start.

Great to hear about Kur. As you say, if his skill is even average, with his athletic ability, he will really help us.

I love Reaves and think Manek is very good with the potential to take a big step. I just LOVE Doo's game. As an overall player (defense, ball handling, versatility), I felt he was easily our best player by the end of the year. I'd love it if other guys play well enough to close the gap!

I agree with that. Doo was clearly our best player.

Competitive practice will make us better!

Doolittle needs to understand his strengths and stick to them. Too many times he drove to the basket and ended up getting his shot blocked. His offensive strength is 8 feet and out.

Hopefully after the first exhibition game.
We need Harmon/Bienemy/Reaves to be our best players to get back to the top of the conference.
If Manek/Doolittle continue to claim that title, it will be another long season.

The lack of respect/appreciation for Doo is just astounding. He does basically everything well, some things extremely well, yet so many act as if he is a fourth or fifth option on a "good" team.
