1. OU
2. KU
3. WVU
4. TCU
5. Baylor
6. Texas
7. Tech
8. KSU
9. OSU
10. ISU

I know. Pick KU till they actually get beat. But I just can’t...

I admire your tenacity and pride in the C&C, but I can't commit that deep until I see how we do against WVU's pressure. I think we'll be ok but when you get even halfway lackadaisical they sneak up on you and we are a young team.

Tier 1:
1. KU
Tier 2:
2. OU
3. WVU
4. Baylor
5. TCU
Tier 3:
6. Texas Tech
7. Texas
Tier 4:
8. ISU
9. KSU
Tier 5:
10. OSU

Subject to change:D:
WV (I can't believe I'm picking against KU)
OU
KU
Tech
TCU
Texas
Baylor
OSU
Iowa State
K-State

As a bonus:
ACC - Duke
Big 10 - Purdue
SEC - A*M
PAC - Zona

1. KU- will be champ pick until dethroned
2. WVU- skilled squad and lots of experience
3. OU- Until the Freshman prove it, I’ve got em’ at #3, but could really see them winning the big 12 crown
4. TCU- Dixon has them playing well and plenty of talent
5. Baylor- not a lot to love, but this is a very good team
5. TTU- Talented squad and again some good experience too
7. Texas- Tons of talent, but not sure they gel well together. It’s just a weird mix of talent and they do not seem to all be Shaka type guys
8. KSU- just not a Webber fan, but I think they beat KU somehow and he keeps his job another year
9. ISU- tough to pay in Hilton... they will beat somebody or two they shouldn’t at home
10. OSU- it’s Carrol, Lyndsay and bunch of nobodies on this team. Just not enough talent

I think 12-6 or even 11-7 could win the big 12. And I also predict teams will all have 9 wins.

I think 3rd like chaser has there is a pretty solid prediction. hey, I will be the first one to cheer my behind off no matter if they're first or 10th. But they're young and an injury or stagnation might creep in. Plus they might go thru a poor shooting stretch.

Until someone beats them out..Kansas, WVU, OU, then in any order TCU, Texas, Baylor, TTU,KSU, OSU and ISU

1. KU
2. WVU
3. OU
4. Tech
5. TCU
6. Baylor
7. Texas
8. Kstate
9. ISU
10. OSU

7 Make the tournament, and K State is on the fringe of the bubble. It will be a log jam between 9-9 and 11-7. 12-6 Wins it.

As bizarre as it might sound, I believe a 7-11 record in this conference is in play for the tournament bubble this year.....based upon our conference's non-conference performance. With 68 teams, the bubble is pretty damn weak every year now. The Big 12 is the best conference this year top to bottom.....despite not having a dominant, elite-type team. If a team like Texas, Baylor, or Iowa State finishes 7-11, I think there is more than a decent chance that they are in the discussion. At that point, you have to drill down on that specific team's resume (non con games) and who they actually beat in conference. With a good road win or two in this conference, you can be sitting pretty at 8-10....and maybe even at 7-11.

I still like KU to win it but we have a good chance. The first game at TCU will be a big key either way. If KU does not get Preston back (I think they will) then that helps our chances. They get De Sousa today for practice.

I think we're the best team in the league. We're easily the deepest team in the conference, with 10 guys worthy of being rotation players. We have the best player in the conference. Despite it feeling like we're young, we start two juniors and a senior.

The conference is also set up well for us to win this year. First of all, everyone is at least respectable, and it's going to be a bloodbath. That means our depth will allow us to stay fresher than the competition, as well as survive injuries (other than to Trae, of course) better than everyone else. The fact that it's going to be a bloodbath means you don't have to go 16-2 to win the conference. This means that if Trae has a couple bad games and we lay a couple eggs on the road, we're not out of contention. Finally, this is Self's weakest Kansas squad by a mile. I of course wouldn't be surprised if they won the conference, but we flat out have a better team than them, and '08-09 is the only other time that's been the case since Self arrived.

And one last note: we're not shooting the ball at an unsustainable level. It's not like we're winning these games because we're making 50% of our 3s. In fact, I'd expect our shooting to improve a little bit, not the other way around.

With Preston likely back soon and de Souza about to join. I’ll flip ku and OU but still think we can beat them.

I still dont understand why Preston is out.

With all the crap going on and honestly ku has a 10 yr list that NEVER gets brought up...

as far as the issue...

wrecked a car...fled the scene (single car accident), car is insured in Florida and titled in Calif, I believe. I do think it's titled in 1 state / insured in another...maybe not the 2 I mentioned.

His name is not on ANY of the documents.

ku trying to find a way to sweep it all under the rug...time heals all wounds...

def think OU is in top 3 or 4. This game against tcu will show a lot. I like how TY has a calm demeanor in his game.

Someone said 7-11 conf might make ncaa...I would agree in 8/10 def 9/9. We'll see.

Has an 8-10 team ever made the tournament?
