I had to laugh at the reasons why Thompson (wanted to be closer to home) and Goff (coaching change) are leaving the program.

"Thompson is being released because he's a no-talent stiff who couldn't play for my daughter's junior high team." And, "Goff is the 14th worst player on his 13-man junior college squad."

Very well said Coach K. I do think Thompson asked out of his scholarship and wasn't persuaded to stay. I don't think Goff was given the choice.
