I think we are going to be a 10 seed playing none other than Kelvin’s Houston team. That would be an interesting matchup. They’d likely kill us on the boards, and we would really need to shoot well to have a chance. We would need the Big 3 to all be on their games. One thing that could help us is our free throw shooting, because Houston commits a lot of fouls. Hopefully we get refs who call a tight game.

Do we need a win for Lon to stay off the hot seat?

Houston would be a tough matchup, but we’re overdue for a win in these 7/10 games (0-3) since our only victory in 1983.

I truly believe Coach Kruger’s seat would have at least been warm had we not made the Tournament, but winning or losing a 7/10 matchup will not move the needle one way or the other.

Would have been a fun matchup. Half the board would have had a smug, "I told you so" attitude, whichever team won.
