Very proud of the effort tonight. You could see the guys run out of gas, which is a nice sign because that means they were playing hard. It is hard to beat a good team with a limited number of guys. This team is improving. It would be nice to have some more wins so they could continue the process in post season play.

They looked better on the road than they have all year, and they not only had to beat a good team, but had to beat a good team with Ed Hightower getting in on the act.

I am VERY PROUD of our team last night, and the way they played. They put it all out there on the floor. Cade, Tiny, Tony, all made me want to watch the game. But when I heard Hightower was one on the refs, well, I knew it was going to be another loss, no matter how hard our guys played. We love you guys.....Put this one behind you, and lets win the next one. It's Senior night....Let's bring it..............

Denver, there are a lot of things you can do in this life, but you can't dictate how other people feel about this basketball team or the individual players. He has every right to his opinion, just as you do to yours.

Someone needs to tell the 11am Sports Animal crew out of Tulsa how hard they played. The way they were bashing the team and Capel you would've thought they never even showed up. I was wondering if they even watched the game (they never mentioned the horrible officiating either).

I'm never proud to lose by double digits to a rival on national TV after having a 12 point lead with 10 minutes left.

I expect more than that from this basketball program. I don't expect to win the Big 12 every year, but I certainly don't expect to lose 7 games in a row and look miserable while doing it. It's one thing to come out and play a team when they are playing their best basketball as what happened in Stillwater in 96 when they beat us by 20+. It's a whole different deal to lose to a team in a tailspin when they didn't play very well by double digits.

I was impressed with the way the guys played together last night as well. You could tell that they wanted the win and were ready to fight for it. First time I've seen the guys play as a real team in awhile. Congrats on the hustle.
