Let's face it, we are going to be thoroughly outmatched in most of ourremaining games. However, rather than imploding and quitting like Tech has we are playing together and fighting. It's very good to see.

Agreed. Unlike last year's team, this one doesn't seem to have quit in them.

I also love how the team reacted after the buzzer. Very subdued, very businesslike.

nice performance. Inside d was bad but had good help D. Tech shot lights out at the end of the game or it would have been 15-20 point victory.

Refs made some weird calls as well

Good thread, senior. It's nice to read a positive one for a change. The shooting and the hustle certainly more than offset the frustrating turnovers. What I was impressed with the most was the clutch free throw shooting when Tech started getting really hot near the end of the game.

All 5 starters played real well tonight...hopefully that continues because I want to believe we can beat Colorado on Saturday.

Loved the free throw shooting. Straight money down the stretch.

This is a great thing. I think it's obvious this team is following its only Sr. Very nice to see some young guys willing to accept some leadership.

As the clock ran down, I found myself thinking that there isn't a single player on this team that I don't like. Obviously I don't know them personally, but based on how they play, there isn't a single player on this team that doesn't deserve to wear the Crimson and Cream. I couldn't make either one of those statements last year.

Congratulations on the victory tonight. Build on it and get another one on Saturday.

great point. I feel the same way. It seems like ALL of these kids contributes and plays hard - something I really appreciate.

Which happens to be a part of what college ball is all about, building character.

We have every reason to be proud. The game wasn't pretty at times. But our kids played hard and they made crucial free throws down the stretch to seal a much-needed win.

Are we doing this in the locker room right now:

Props to everyone who has posted in this thread. Obviously we are challenged talent wise, but we are not challenged character wise. I also was very proud/happy for OUr guys.

Seriously, it is good to get a win.

Now maybe we can build on it and beat CU.

It's good to see these kinds of sentiments in this thread. I think most feel the same way about our guys, whether we win this game or not, but it's good to see some props being given to the character that these guys display on our team.

I honestly want nothing more than for this bunch of hard workers to become successful on (and of course off) the court. When they walk off the LNC floor for the last time I want Fitzgerald, Pledger, Clark, Blair, Neal, Newell, Etc. To be able to look back and smile about the turnaround they accomplished during their careers.

Hopefully this isn't just a dream.

Big ups to Jeff Capel. I thought he managed the game well and had the guys scrapping all game long. The character on this team reminds me of Capel's first squad at OU.
