You obviously don't know the full story. Grimes didn't want to come back to KU. He wasn't one of those guys who enters the draft just wanting to get feedback on his game so he knows what to work on once he withdraws. His plan was to stay in the draft or, if he didn't get the feedback he was hoping for, transfer someplace where he could play the point, which he considers his best position. He obviously wasn't going to play the point at KU with Dotson there. So what exactly do you think KU should do in that situation? Not recruit someone to replace a guy who was all but certain not to come back?
