I see that Katie Scott, a 6-2 F/C from Carl Junction HS, MO, was the only Missouri State commit to decommit after the coaching change. 21.5 pt, 8.5 reb as junior, 2020 commit. Wonder if there is any interest either way with Stiles on board.


I was curious about why I hadn't heard much about Irving MacArthur's basketball team this Spring with both Hannah Gusters and Sarah Andrews on it, especially since they are both top ten national recruits. I see that while they are listed at the same school, the UIL stopped Gusters from playing for Irving after she transferred from Duncanville, considering it a sports-only transfer. Stopped it in December. Don't know about the 2019-2020 status.

I think Horn Fans is under the impression that if UConn takes Gusters, Andrews falls to Baylor. UConn already has their point guard of the future, a 5-9 PG from Zagreb, Croatia, Nike Muhl. They also have a PG from this year's #1, Paige Bueckers, a 5-10 G.

This would leave me to believe that they might have little or no interest in Andrews. I thought UConn was shopping in Europe or Australia for a post? Saw that as a rumor that someone was headed to UConn. No verification.

Isn't there an Andrews who is a Guard at Norman?

I believe Gusters to UConn and Andrews to Texas is likely to happen... also think Baylor will sign 2020 combo guard Hailey Van Lith... I think OU will need to sign a top 50ish guard if we are to keep up with Baylor and Texas... I’m not sure who Ou is looking at for guard, but there are 2 girls one from Pennsylvania and the other from Maryland and both are pretty good, maybe Coach Washington recruited one or both so she can continue to recruit them to OU...
