Yeah picking them 4th was ridiculous. OU, Kansas, Texas, and Iowa State alone are better on paper easily coming into the season. Baylor and WVU are probably better too. They are playing tight with OSU in Stillwater but that's probably about where they were.

And that's with Marcus Foster watching most of the first half from the bench. The announcers said Weber benched him to send a "deliberate" message. Marcus is clearly not happy about it either.

I agree that K-State is not even close to the fourth best team in the Big 12. As Pnkranger said, they'll be lucky to finish in the bottom four. OSU will, too. Their bench is going to make it really hard to finish higher than that.

I will say this, though. Phil Forte is a baller. I would love to have a player like him on my team.

Really? Maybe b/c they finished 5th last year, one game behind the 4th and 5th place teams, and only two games behind they 2nd place team. They returned their top 2 scorers, and only lost two major contributors (best I can tell).

It hasn't turned out that way, but on paper a few months ago, 4th/5th certainly looked reasonable.
