So, I thought it was kind of weird all of the hate towards Reaves from WSU fans yesterday.(Which I thought he handled it pretty well)
I was told from a very reliable source from Wichita that has worked with Marshall in the past why Reaves was basically forced out. It was because he slept or had relations with Marshall's daughter.. Kind of crazy if so.

Observations: I think we are very lucky having a coach like Kruger. He does it the right way. Marshall storming off the court yesterday acting like he just had won the Natty was pretty embarrassing. His wife and daughter are jokes as well.

Harmon I thought stepped up big yesterday.
JB is just bad right now on the offensive end.. Why not start Williams or Hill and have JB come off the bench maybe???
Manek I thought wasn't super engaged, but played well.
Doolittle needs to attack more and get a better cross over/first move to get by guys.. He should have been able to get by WSU's bigs better than that. Guy is a warrior though.

Love the fight with this team and games like these will only make us better in the long run!

Right, we aren't going to win a lot of games where Doolittle is 2 for 12 shooting in the second half and we get whipped on the boards by 17.

Agree with Doo and his minutes.. I think Lon needs to figure out his rotation and give 2-3 guys 10-15min each. I thought Hill played well in first half and he never got minutes in second half.

I mentioned the reaves deal last year....was severely questioned...ah well.

Totally agree with Marshall being such an ass. Grew up in Wichita, all they have is basketball...

I do appreciate Kruger being even keeled win or lose AFTER the game.

I thought the rotation was pretty good in the first half... I’m still of the mindset if the subs aren’t good enough to start then subbing 3/4 guys at a time isn’t a great idea, which seems to be Kruger’s MO.

Thought the 2 Nd half... especially last 10 minutes got very stagnant

Disagree, Doolittle does not need to attack. He is not good anywhere near the basket and it showed yesterday in the second half. He does not finish well at the rim and he gets blocked by bigger opponents anywhere inside of 6-8 ft. He needs to stick to midrange jumpers out to the 3pt line.

Doo 38 minutes. Fatigue showed late.

Yep. Everybody said this team would be deep, and we're basically playing 8 guys, and the bench guys aren't even playing all that much.

Another year with a lot of dead weight on the roster. *sigh*

Can’t wait to see what highly sought-after jucos we can bring in this spring.

And another year of people pretending like there are lots of teams out there with ten legitimate contributors. I always ask people to point out examples of teams with 10 guys who are going to play consistently well and I'm still waiting for an answer. We've already had four bench guys play key roles in helping us win game and we are only nine games into the season. If they'd dead weight to you, your standards are quite demanding.

I don't know whether Reaves and Maggie hooked up, but I do question whether it was the reason he left. Marshall made it clear that he was shocked when Reaves told him he was leaving. If that decision has been made by Marshall, his ego wouldn't allow him to pretend like Reaves was leaving of his own volition.

As for the WSU fans, the words to describe them are thin-skinned and insecure. They constantly lament the fact that they are in the shadow of KU in particular and the Big 12 in general. The lack of class exhibited by the Marshall family just further encourages the fans. Gregg's son, who is a complete tool, is now a grad assistant. Last night, when Reaves missed s shot early in the game, the son stood and screamed at him at the top of his lungs. If someone got a picture at that time, it would tell you everything you need to know. Any coach with even an ounce of class would never allow that. Gregg not only allows it, he encourages it. I never thought I would dislike any fanbase and program as much as KU, but WSU is gaining ground quickly.

It's a thin eight. Might be closer to seven by the time we get to conference. LOTS of dead weight. But that's the way this staff operates. You can set your watch to it.

Who’s the dead weight? All these guys contribute something or have a good chance to contribute something.

I've stated my stance on JUCOs. I'd like us to never recruit another. That said, Williams appears to be serviceable. I'd much rather that scholarship and those minutes go to a high-school guard who can contribute for 3-4 years instead of two.

The dead weight to me is Merritt, Kuath, Garang and Issanza.

I'm okay with JUCOs that contribute for two years. That's two more years of contribution than we usually get from our JUCOs, though.

I’ll give you Merritt but that’s it. OU signed 5 Hs players last year & 3 are contributing with the other 2 believed to have upside. Who would you rather have that OU had a chance at?

Yeah we really should have 12 NBA caliber guys on the roster. How silly of us. Again, you're complaining about guys 9-12 on the roster, one of whom is redshirting. It's completely unrealistic to expect us to be able to pull something off that not even blue bloods can do.

2 are redshirting. But back to the point...Marshall is a top 5 a**hole (maybe #1) in college basketball.

UNC just lost at home to Wofford for the second time in three years. Only two bench guys scored for Carolina. Roy Williams clearly has no idea how to fill a roster...way too much dead weight

lol, they played 5 guys, 4 for considerable minutes. Considerable meaning our three played 29 minutes, their 4 played 56. Significantly more rest for the starters, huh?

I know you see the difference, but I doubt your ego will let you admit it.
