Rebounding!

Wow! What a performance on the offensive boards. OU had a +21 rebound avantage over Coppin State (53-22). Even better, 28 of our 53 boards were on the ffensive end.

And let me add this bit of news as a bonus: Andrew Fitzgerald had 8 rebounds! They weren't lucky bounces either. I watched him a lot tonight. He worked hard for most of his boards.

Agreed...but to be fair Coppin State jacked up a ton of 3's and didn't crash the boards.

You're right, of course. But misses from three usually rebound long off the board or goal and give the opponent another chance to score. What I liked is that every player on our team went after loose balls and rebounds with a vengeance. Coppin State didn't get many second chances.
