The following links are to 247Sports. I know there are various versions of recruiting rankings by different recruiting services, but these are free links that I could easily access. Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to look back at some of the recruiting classes that helped OU to a FINAL-4. (Note that high school rankings and JUCO rankings in the following links are two different types of data.) Also, Division-1 transfers are not considered in these recruiting rankings.

Spangler was a 3-Star recruit (#139 National Ranked Player) that was in Gonzaga's 2011 recruiting class.

This proves that our coaching staff can be successful by bringing in good players and good kids who are willing to work hard. Doesn't mean we should give up on signing five star recruits. It just shows that our coaches know how to win with the right mix of three and four star signees.

It's also good to know that our 2016 class was the highest rated in the Kruger era. With a chance to top that in 2017, one has to believe the best may be yet to come.
