Recording Games

My cable box (Cox Contour) menu allows me to pick and choose individual programs to record about 2 weeks in advance or I can choose to record all of the programs in a series. On January 1, I could set up all the OU games in the next two weeks to record. If I needed to record OU games that weren't yet on the menu on January 1, is there a way to do that?

I dont think so, but you can always watch the OU games on demand via the watchespn app, no need to record unless you maintain an archive.

If you knew the time and channel you probably could record that time on that channel and it would work. I would test it with something you know will change first though to be sure.

**I have never used Cox Contour and have no idea how the software on their DVR boxes work.

I know from a mistake that recording the series will not work. A couple of years ago I apparently hit record series rather than event. That football season, I got every Saturday Night game on ABC when I really only wanted the OU game. Unless things have changed, I believe record series will simply record that time slot, such as Big Monday, throughout the season.
