I have followed the recruiting of Tiny and TMG somewhat but with Patillo's departure it seems that Fitz rises in potential impact. How close to Big XII ready is he? What are his strengths and weaknesses?

I have no idea whether he'll be an impact player as a freshman or not, but I agree he is going to be VERY important. I think he is definetly the wild card.

He could be the 5th starter along with TMG, Warren, Crocker and Tiny or he could be
the 11th man on the depth chart like Cannon was last year. Who knows.

I don't think Fitz will start. Starting 3 true frosh would be asking alot. Wright or Allen, if they improve a little bit, are better options to start most likely.

fixed...
Wright will get about 3 minutes a game at best or we are in trouble unless he somehows gets a "nate carter" like turn around..

I think Fitz has become quite a bit more important now that Juan is gone. I hope he gets in here soon and starts working hard.
