Recruiting 2017

I'm not going to back down on the recruiting aspect until we win the big 12 or the big 12 tournament. Not finish 3rd in the big 12 and 3rd in the big 12 tournament.

Its great to make it to the final 4 but I'm not going to backtrack like you and some others are doing about the path to the final 4 once the tournament is over. At least I stick by what I said and most people said before the tournament.

:ez-laugh:

I didn't back down and i'm sure nobody else has an issue saying we had an easy path and the easiest path of the 2 seeds.

That isn't the point though. The point is you think we were only in the final four b/c of our path...not b/c of our team. And you think going forward, the only way we will get back to the final four is if we have an easy path.

I'm done with this nonsense

Nothing more overrated than the conference tourney for the major conferences.

He is foolishly speaking of the easiest path before the tourney started which is based on potential matchups and not how the brackets actually breaks for a team. Cuse made it to the elite 8 this year by beating a 7, 15, and 11 seed. So potential tough match ups for them didn't happen until they played UVA in the Elite 8.

I'm confused. If thats the case...then why wasn't KU and Xavier in the same one and so on?

Because if they put Nova in the same region as UNC that would have meant Nova would have been able to play those two games in Philly (Nova is in Philly of you didn't know) and the committee didn't want essential home games for Nova and thus flipped 7 and 8.

Don't twist my words. I responded to Coach's comment about our recruits. Our recruits never even made it to the big 12 conference championship in 4 years. We've finished the big 12 regular season 3 or lower 4 out of 5 years Kruger has been here. You don't think we need better recruits?

OU's Big 12 regular season finish under Kruger (starting from this year)

Tied for 2nd

yep and that makes sense. Nobody knew that syracuse would be in the final four before the tourney

I was going by our seed in the big 12 tournament on the one we tied on.

It took something like the 4th tiebreaker to seed OU and ISU in the tourney. They tied for 2nd in the league. No reason to spin that otherwise.

Of course it would be great if OU was snagging 5 star players left and right like KU. But that isn't going to happen in particular with Kruger since he isn't going to play the game.

I wasn't spinning it. I was looking it up on a website and it had us listed as 3rd. I wasn't looking at the records.

I do believe he is recruiting better. I have high hopes for Buford.

If only we had more 5 stars like Tiny gallon and TMG. Oh wait then we too could be 0-18 in year 4 instead of the sweet 16. then in Year 5 we could get guys like Nick Thompson, Abdi Ahmad, and Carl Blair and finish 14-18 instead of the Final Four

Yeah b/c that would happen every time. Poor Kentucky with their 5 stars. How ever do they ever win?
