It doesn't bother me. If 2 of those 3 players would have return...you all would have been singing a different tune. Especially a healthy Warren.

i thought we got them back? and soonersports doesn't show them as losses. either way saying we went 0-18 is pretty ridiculous

But you don't. If we got 5 star players you'd comment how the players really are 4 or 3 star players or how we didn't get enough of them or how they'll be one-and-dones and we'd be better off with 3 star guys who stayed 4 years.

Not in a discussion about recruiting. That is one of the results of caple's recruiting "success" having to vacate wins due to NCAA violations.

Oregon was one of the hottest teams in the tourney til the met us.. you can't go back and reseed teams unless a 2 loses to a 15 or something.. a 1 losing to a 2 is not a big deal

This guy has led y'all down the rabbit hole. Absolutely pointless to argue with people like this poster. Logic and reason as it relates to college basketball, recruiting, and OU men's basketball is lost on him. A longtime member of my ignore list...

Could we delete posts 19 and on and pick back up on recruiting, or start a new recruiting thread?

Just to clarify, this is from the 2015-16 University of Oklahoma Basketball Press Guide, page 167:

2009-10 record (0-18 overall, 4-12 Big 12)**

** Season includes wins later vacated due to NCAA sanctions. Actual on-court record was 13-18.

The wins were not changed to losses in the official records, but rather the wins do not count in the official records, as part of the NCAA sanctions. The wins were vacated, or eliminated from the “official” records, for all time.

Nothing has been changed or “forgiven.” This note has appeared in the OU media guide every year since the NCAA sanctions were implemented. Here is a link to the current OU media guide (pdf file). See pages 167, 137, and 149 in the media guide for footnotes similar to the one quoted above from page 167.

The "4-12" conference record listed on page 167 and elsewhere does not make sense to me either. I attribute it to poor editing, but who knows.

Says the guy who chose to insert non-recruiting content into the thread and take it off its hinges. Your post and continued incorrect comments on the "easy" path to the final four is what took the recruiting discussion off track. Now when people come to the thread and think there's over 3 pages of recruiting discussion, they are sorely misled and disappointed.
