Lots of schollys available for 2013.
What are the biggest needs?
MUST sign some talented bigs. No projects. some 6'8 plus at least 230lb banggers who can block out, play D and dominate under the basket.
I think you can usually find shooters.
The 2013 class I think will make or break the Kruger reign here.
It may be 2014 before OU is back on track but we need to build up talent and depth.
Depth is so lacking and the 2013 team will be very young. Dominated by FR and Sophs with little upperclass leadership unless there is a 5 Star JC in the mix.

We really need to pick up a couple D1 transfers. Judging by what we've seen over the past 5 years or so, the JUCO ranks are almost empty of quality big men. Dont expect anything more than a warm body if we sign a JUCO big.

Actually, OU is going to be pretty good next year and then probably take a step back. Next year OU is going to have 4 guys that are very good at scoring points. Additionally, they will add significant depth to the bench with Hield and Hornbeak. Just adding M'Baye is going to make a big difference. He was the leading scorer on his team as a sophomore. He can clearly score points. Right now OU has no one to come off the bench and score. The bench scored 4 points in 25 minutes. ISU got 15 from its bench. If our bench matches the ISU bench, OU wins by 4. Hopefully, OU is going to get bench production next season.

I also think it is reasonable to expect improvement from all the returning players. Maybe none of them have significant improvement but they should be better players.

I'm still holding out for an impact player to fill Newell's scholarship. Just give me a kid that can knock down shots, and isn't a complete klutz outside of that. Like the Babb kid from ISU.

Or Tyrus McGee, the kid from Stringtown, who is shooting threes for ISU at a 45% clip.

Ya think an Oklahoma kid and a former teammate of C. J. Washington would have jumped at the chance to play close to home? OU definitely missed the boat on that one! :facepalm

OU really needs another 3 point shooter. A kid that can sit at 21 feet and consistently knock down an open shott would make a bid difference. If this kid also had the ability to put the ball on the floor it would be even better but the shot alone would be a tremendous help.

We have enough spot up shooters(pledger) who are on fire or cold as ice. We need a slasher who can get to the rim and finish.
Im hoping we we make some room on this roster and get a couple juco guards who can SCORE but not just off a screen like steven.
We need a MASSIVE talent upgrade, I dont want anymore spot up shooters.

I also think there is a chance clark transfers, I HAVE NO INSIDE INFO, just a gut feeling. Hes not bough into krugers system(liability on defense) and obviously not the the player we or he ,thought he would be.....he also doesnt look very happy on the bench.
