Couple of juco guys who have been in D-1 programs... Talley is a big guard who averaged 12 a game for Binghampton and was freshman of the year in American East conference. Putting up big numbers at Blinn... Jurick was a top 100 player out of high school and was signed by Tennessee. Both of these guys are a couple of years removed from high school and ready to contribute from day one.

Philip Jurick (6'11'' 255- Chattanooga State Community College)
-Rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com ... Ranked as the No. 68 player in the class of 2008 by Rivals.com ... Two-time Class AA All-State selection ... 2008 Region 3-AA All-Tournament selection ... Led the Pioneers to the Region 3-AA Semifinals as a senior ... Averaged 17.8 points, 15.9 rebounds and eight blocks per game as a senior.
-Currently averaging 12 points and 15 rebounds per game in junior college. Described by ESPN as a very physical player who can score with either hand.

Dylan Talley (6'5'' 215-Blinn Community College)
-Averaging 18.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.2 assists for Blinn as a sophomore at Blinn College in Texas. Played his freshman season at Binghampton, where he was the America East Conference Rookie of the Year. Averaged 11.8 ppg as a freshman for Binghampton.

We know Capel is recruiting Jurick, not sure on Talley.

A post rotation of Fitzgerald, Osby, Jurick, and Goff would be really solid. A massive size and athletic upgrade over what is playing now.

I got the info from the guard commitment thread. Im not claiming to have "found" the guy or anything. i havent even heard of him until I read the thread. I found out about him 10 minutes ago and now he is on the wish list with Talley, lol.

check his stats out on njcaa.org. This kid snatches down 15 rebounds in juco ball. Juco ball is a rotating door where the coaches use all their bench and he's snatching down 15rbs.

Monterale Clark is a juco big originally out of Milwaukee that is in Missouri playing ball. OU has recruited him forever. He's 6'10. Honestly we need help at every position, but if we have a big that can force a double, it will make it easy for everyone else.

Jurick probably was too unethical for Bruce Pearl. Other kid was probably trying to upgrade schools but didn't want to sit out a year.

If he is too unethical for Pearl then why would we want him? Pearl is a snake in his own right imo.

Any 2011 recruiting wish list without a PG is incomplete imo.

That was my poor attempt at sarcasm. I don't know why he left, but read it was due PT. I think we'll get a pg and a big.

Where the scholarships for these players coming from? Doesn'i OU need a new coach who isn't tied to present players so he can rub a bunch of them off?

Ahmed leaving is one scholarship and the assumption of another player leaving is the other.

Looks like Jurick is national Juco player of the week with a game of 16pts on 8/8 shooting, 19rbs, 12blks, and 6ast.
