Releford article KC Star today

I've got a hunch that Releford turns out a better college player than Pressey.
I'm glad to see OU has offered. I think he can be a change of pace difference maker at the backup PG spot.

based on what?

based on what?

A hunch....which is why I stated it as such.
I will say my hunch has been influenced by the fact Releford is having a very good summer while Pressey is not. But again, it's a hunch.

Jeff Capel was at court side yesterday during the "It Takes 5five Classic" to check out Releford personally, so OU's interest in this kid appears to be legit.

Trevor Releford had a solid crowd following him around today. Oklahoma’s head coach Jeff Capel took a peak, as did Arizona’s Sean Miller, UMass’s Derrick Kellog and Alabama’s Anthony Grant. UCLA and a handful of other programs saw him as well.

Judging by Evan Daniels' report, Trevor had an impressive performance.

Class of 2010 point guard Phil Pressey (Dallas/Episcopal) made excellent decisions Monday night on the break; he pushed the ball with great pace but was very much under control. He penetrated and kicked to sharp-shooting teammate Russell Byrd (Fort Wayne, Ind./ Blackhawk Christian; committed to Michigan State) for wide-open 3s or attacked the rim and dropped off to a cutting post when the second defender stopped his forward progress.

Pressey's top level speed is of such a value that it would be hard to put Releford ahead of him.
