She scored 31 last night in a win over Vinita. She scored over half of her team's total score.

She has offers from Nebraska, ISU, Washington, Arkansas, and New Mexico. She had an offer from OSU but they took another player because Hailey wasn't ready to commit.

She said she probably will not commit until April. She has said she wants to play close to home. That tells me Arkansas is the likely choice.

I have always been high on Tucker. She is a 6'3" forward who can handle the ball and shoot. Last year she averaged about 23 pts and 10 rebounds per game.

If Sherri ever had thoughts of getting away from a 4 guard offense and going back to a conventional power forward, this girl should be on her radar screen.

Guess I have always been out of the loop. I never thought Sherri played with
four guards on purpose, I thought it was just the recruits we had.

Too, why is Kornet a guard when other teams have a player her size who is
a forward? Because of how she plays? Because of the offense and defense Sherri runs? I don't see much difference in her size and Caton Hill's and Caton shot the three well, but she also rebounded really well.
I am not as well-educated in the game as many here so why I am asking.

Kornet has always been a hybrid. She came in as a 2 or 3 and, out of necessity, Sherri created a 4/3 hybrid. She plays hard, but she's never been consistent.

However, everyone likes her and her play. Her constant smile engenders that.

I think she has the recruits she has is because she wants to run a 4-guard offense. Otherwise, I think she she would offer Tucker or someone like her. Kornet is about the same size Caton and Amanda Thompson.

I think Sherri has kind of what she wants, a lot of people who can play facing the basket with two or three back-to-the-basket stoppers. It's nice that McKenna can also step out and shoot. But, if Courtney had a problem, it was that the way that we used her often clogged the lane for others. I think Sherri wants movement and activity that leads to open shots. If she could do it with five guards who could each get eight rebounds per game, she would probably do it. This team is very much like what I think she wants. She might want better athletes, but kind of like what she has.

I was under the impression she wasn't committing because she was hoping to attract more offers with a really good senior season.

We would have Treece, Pierre-Louis, Mulkey, and Odimgbe. We can already play two inside.

Why don't we see anything from MaxPreps or Prospect Nation? I don't see that she was on an AAU team. You would think Max Preps would at least mention her.

I would love to have her at OU, I think we could use her skill set, and it would allow Sherri to play 2 bigs. Also looks like she and Dungee are friends. I think she'll end up at OK state...

I agree she could help us. It's hard to find a girl tall enough to play the conventional PF position, skilled enough to step outside and knock down 3s, and athletic enough to defend and rebound effectively. I also like kids whose parent(s) are coaches. If we don't go after her, I hope she goes to OSU as I would like to be able to see her play occasionally.
