I just spoke with William Jennings and he has caught up with Goff and Peters.

Robert Goff will honor his letter of intent and is expected to be coming to Oklahoma this Fall. He is "Oklahoma all the way" according to what William texted me.

Richard Peters has decommitted from Oklahoma at this time. Peters told William that it was a very hard decision to come to but felt it was the best decision. He will keep tabs with OU.

Expect more on both in the upcoming days.

How had peters been doing this year?

just like I tried to tell Jason earlier...Canadians can't be trusted!

I don't mind that about Peters. I'd rather Kruger go out and recruit players that fit his system. Peters may, or may not have, but he certainly wasn't good enough (IMO) to worry over.

Goff is a perfect fit for this team. Sure would be great to get Jurick too but West Virginia probably has him locked up. Dude averages 13 boards and 9 blocks!!

Goff's had a horrible year from all reports. I wonder if Kruger will cut him loose.
Add in the rumors on this board about him not getting out of juco.

I still have yet to understand why everyone thinks Goff is going to suck.

He may not be an All-American, but I bet he is a solid contributor. He surely isn't a guy Kruger will cut loose.

at least there can be a reasonable argument made about the impact he will have, the academic stuff is nothing more than message board non-sense.

colston,
A number of posters here have seen him play this year none were impressed.

He average 9 pts, 6 rebs a game. Those are weaker stats than even Nick Thompson.

despite my name, it isn't all about stats. I predict he will be closer to CJ than Nick.

I've seen Goff play a couple of times. He is far more athletic than either C.J. or Fitz. It just looks like he plays bored sometimes. If Kruger can coach him up and get him playing hard, he has a ton of potential.

Not a bad description of Goff. He's athletic, runs the floor well and he'll add more size and depth to our front court. I saw very little to suggest that he will add much to our offense.

In the two games I saw he appeared to be uninspired to play hard for more than brief periods. I expected to see him demand the ball and even dominate the paint to some extent. That's not what I saw. In his defense, though, Hutch's guards may have contributed to his lack of motivation by their lackadaisical attempt to get the ball inside. Big men don't like it when their efforts aren't rewarded with an occasional touch in running an offense.
