Sam Grooms is a coach

For those interested, Sam Grooms has been named an assistant at Connors State under longtime coach Bill Muse. I could see him succeeding because he knows JuCo ball, he knows D1 ball, and most importantly he knows what it takes to get from one to the other which should be a nice selling point for potential recruits.

That's great. He was a decent player that was asked to do too mu on a bad team, and then did a nice job in a backup roole a s a senior.
