I think all coaches have different personalities and coach differently. And they can all be successful. I go to almost all the home games (only miss when out of town since 2005) and I can assure you Sherri can jump in the middle of a player during a timeout, as I've seen it firsthand. It may not show up on TV for those that don't attend and I'm pretty sure she would be the same during practices. I don't see Muffet McGraw jumping up in players faces and she's pretty successful. I think different coaches motivate in different ways and they can all be successful. I think this is a non-issue.

When I go to games I usually sit behind our bench. I remember at KU a couple of years ago she yanked someone and just blistered her. Something about just going home right now. I know styles are different and such but maybe it's just I don't think the fear is there. I know Muffet doesn't act like a loon like some coaches but I'll bet when she speaks she gets their attention.
I'm just tired of these teams crapping the bed and it just seems to get filed under status quo. My peeve with the girls has always been the turnovers. I'm a crusty old fundamental type guy but that stuff would just drive me over the edge.
