Should Have Hired BCG

It is shocking that you would say that a juco player going to Tech is better than a juco going to OU. Shocking.

I have no idea if Nash is going to be good for them... I assume that BCG has been watching him for awhile, and he may have been the best SF prospect they could get at this point in the game.

But the proof is in the pudding for Goff. The guy is like 25 years old and is an average junior college player. Why can't you see that? Why should we expect him to be any good at this level? I know everyone wants him to be, but what evidence do you have to suggest that he is going to be good? he cant score, he doesnt seem to rebound very well, etc.

I do know that Tech is more put together than OU for next season, and will probably be the better coached team which hasnt been the case for Tech in the past.

I never said that Goff is anything special. I just find it humorous that you can look at Nash in such a positive light and Goff in such a negative light. They are both likely mediocre players, at best.

We'll see, but all that was missing from Tech's lineup was a small forward and they went out and got one. They now have a complete team for BCG to work with, with some pretty good talent.

I have more faith in Nash than I do Goff, given age and stats.

Everything about Nash points to him being solid. 12/5 on a loaded juco team as a true freshman is pretty good. He is 6'7'', he is labeled as a very good athlete and slasher, etc.

Everything about Goff points to him not even getting off the bench.

If I am not mistaken....weren't CJ Washington's stats superior to BOTH of those guys? Just sayin'

I just want to point out that BCG went to one of the greatest basketball schools on the planet and totally flamed out. I am not saying this negates all of his previous success, but you have to consider his experience at Kentucky when you say he will raise TT to basketball prominence.

he is made for the Southwest, and did a great job at aggieland. He was a fish out of water at kentucky. He would have fit like a glove in OK.

No good teams even offered Nash, Goff had offers from Indiana, Marquette, OU, and more.

I will trust Crean, Capel, Buzz, and other coaches over ABD's opinion.

Rivals reported that Joe C wanted him but Boren nixed it.

Time to get a new president.
Boren probably won't even be around when the next coach has to be fired.
