Silver linings 2014-15

Appreciate what Clark has done, but not sure there has been a more erratic player since I have been following OU closely.
That may be true but he was awesome this season, considering what he was asked to do.

We will miss his size and athleticism dearly next season.

We don't really have any elite wings returning. Buddy and Cousins aren't big or athletic enough for me to consider them elite right now.

I don't think we will miss him much.

Well we didn't have any elite wings this year either

Most fans don't look at rosters changing over the right way. If you are doing things the right way, which Kruger is, you only really MISS players season to season if you lose them during the season. Along those lines, I don't believe we will miss Clark and Neal. We improved from last season to this season and we will be far better over each of the next 2 seasons. You don't get better and miss players. We'll look different and play a little different but we aren't to miss anyone on the court. That's silly fan thinking.

OU basketball does have a nice future, I agree.

But it's putting a lot of pressure on these young bigs to at worst, protect the rim defensively and at best, score some in the paint.

If not, it's the same team with the same weaknesses.

I don't think it's putting a lot of pressure on them to expect them to earn their scholarships and contribute to the team.

I really think we can have the best OU team in a decade next year. Maybe even better than the Elite 8 team that lost to Syracuse. We'll see just how good the new guys are, but with the guys we have coming back. The guards we have are going to be among the best in the nation.

fixed

Never know how many of the guys can go pro after next year. Particularly if Hield and Cousins keep improving. I would expect Hornbaek and Woodard to stay their full four years though. So I'm a one year at a time type guy.
