Slim Crowd in Waco

I have to wonder if Kim's tirades after the Louisville game, and her treatment of Griner once she was gone won't have a negative effect on Baylor's followers.

They probably worried she was going soft. Hell, she didn't even get a technical foul. I think we're seeing the emergence of a kinder, gentler Kim Mulkey.

I don't think so on baylorfans it seem like most didn't want to believe Griner "was who she was"...

It seems like OU doesn't draw as much since the Paris twins have moved on.

What did Kim do to Griner?

based on interviews, it sounds like she made Griner wear the white sleeves that she always had under her uniform to hide her growing collection of arm tattoos, and also not publicly come out as a lesbian while she was at baylor.

not that any of us are brave enough to, but i'm not sure mulkey has been pressed by the media to address either issue, even in a wishy washy round about way (i.e. "Do you have a team policy on body art, from piecings to tattoos? What is your opinion of players publicly announcing their sexuality?")

Kim's only worried about herself. Hypocrite U fans won't care until she doesn't win as much. This season she's going to go back to the "poor me" motivation she's used in the past. And this season is going to be "win for MacKenzie"!

I do not think anything Sulkey would do would bother a majority of their fans, Arent they supposed to be a Southern Baptist institution?

I doubt that Sherri or Lon would appreciate any player announcing they are gay.

Should be completely up to the player...I would be highly disappointed if either one discouraged a player on what is a personal decision.

I don't think its as much as a team policy (no lesbians) as it is a Baylor Policy... Also keep in mind Uconn, Tenseness, and Rutgers are all schools who don't allow there players to have visible tattoos. Also Brooklyn Pope has said most people know Griner was a lesbian but she never really came out... Pope also said its normal on any women's basketball team across the country to have at lest 4 to 6 lesbian players.
