Not Smash, but they might as well. Karl's track record is being overrated, but he might garner some respect.

But I don't think it matters, it's a poorly constructed team. You can already start to see Lebron's efficiency starting to fall off as his hairline recedes. He's at the lowest PER since his rookie year. Irving is a gunner for a 20-25 win team, same with Love. They aren't centerpieces of elite teams. Just not their nature.

Lebron is surrounded by a bunch of perennial stat stuffers/gunners of lottery teams, and he's not efficient enough anymore to shoulder that load.

I think it's way too early. I'd definitely let things play out for a bit longer. There is no one like Phil, Pop, or Carlisle that makes me think, "We have to get that guy before someone else snatches him up in the middle of the season."

I think Blatt can be a success in the NBA, but this is a bad situation for him. Without LeBron buying in, Blatt doesn't have a chance to get through to the rest of the team.

They probably need a more established NBA guy whose names carries more weight, like Karl. I have my doubts about Karl being a long-term solution, but he would at least right the ship.

Same could be said for Popovich, Phil Jackson, Pat Riley and Red Auerbach. Take Duncan, Kobe, Shaq, Jordan, Magic, Kareem, Russell off their rosters and they have nothing.
