No idea if this is true or not but if Kobe wants D'Antoni out he's out. Lakers don't rebuild, they reload and will be in the hunt under Kobe's new contract. He's not going anywhere.

I swear you say things just to be a contrarian. The lakers sure look reloaded the last several years...

And no they won't do **** under his contract. They will be lucky to make the playoffs while he is still there

We shall see. Few teams in professional sports can pony up the money and be relevant instantly. Yanks, & Lakers have always made moves to stay relevant. I'm not sure how good Kobe will be when he comes back, but I know the Laker organization and fan base won't tolerate a fringe playoff team. I expect them to be a little better than you think.

Before the Lakers lost 1/2 of their roster to injiry, they were playing competitive ball and right at .500 without Kobe. They lost Nash, Blake, Farmar, Gasol, Henry, Young, & Meeks for multiple weeks to injuries.

And they still beat the Thunder with their D-League roster. lol

Mitch Kupchak was in Kansas City today, watching Andrew Wiggins. Good Lord, if he was watching Marcus Smart, I think I'll flog myself... :facepalm

Injuries are a viable excuse to Bounce only if it applies to The Thunder.

Hopefully Wiggins can learn to hit a jumper over 15 feet. It's not quite as easy to live at the rim in the NBA.

What was harsh about that? He wants to win. Bottom line Kobe & Magic are players not GMs. Flash back to the last time Kobe was concerned about the front office ... the very next season they were in the finals.

Magic ran a pretty decent coach out of town.
