If out of Deal, Monticelli, Lowry and THREE freshmen we can't come up with at least one good backup arm then it might just be the pitching coach, IMO. Hoping Lowry or one of the freshmen emerges .

Yeah, obviously Rocha doesn't know what switch to flip on each pitcher to turn them into superstars.

i saw her several times towards the end of the season. Honestly, I don't believe she's any better than our returning pitchers, however the stats may prove differently (3.43 ERA last I checked). I do know she led their team in strikeouts and pitched many innings. I def wouldn't say she's better than Lowry. Maybe closer to the level of Deal? It'll be interesting to see if we add anything else in the portal. A veteran catcher/pitcher/hitter would be nice though, but I wouldn't want these incoming players to transfer out before we really gave them a chance to play.

Don't forget to add in the Rocha factor, just as Sam if Rocha made her a better pitcher. Or Kelly Maxwell

I would still try to get a quality pitcher.....someone that could be a solid #2.
We had plenty of pitchers this past season.....but there was only one that was a consistent starting pitcher.
With the NIL, other teams are recruiting over their own players....look at Texas Tech. I'm just not sure that we have two quality pitchers that can compete in the SEC. Maybe I'm overthinking it!!?

Berzon is a championship quality pitcher. It won’t surprise me if deal and or lowrey being a reliable 2d. Actually I will be a little surprised if lowry isn’t a pretty elite pitcher by next year. Just something however the pitching turns out, we are only a catcher away from being elite defensively and 1 or 2 bats from having a batting lineup about as good as any we have ever had
