If aTm had swept us we would have had the same # of losses as they would but we have one more win. How is that a tie?

I should not reply because my brain is now fried but I thought if they had swept us, it would be 18-6 each.

My blood pressure was definitely high! What a crazy series this was, but a great outcome! It's not easy to win an SEC championship! Proud of this team.

I agree Parker should have gotten so much more playing time up until this moment. I don't even know if it's fair for her to come into the game cold like that not having played all weekend. Let Berzon have a complete game, she was dealing and definitely needed the confidence boost!

For whatever reason we pulled it out and we are the outright SEC champs. Back to back now!

Bama had a chance to prove that and failed in the head-to-head against us. They had a chance to win the conference outright if they had won their series against Tennessee but they failed again. They went on the road to Tennessee and lost two games. We went on the road to aTM and won two games. Too bad, so sad.

You are right. I was thinking of Georgia. The fact remains that they controlled their own destiny but lost the Tennessee series.

I do believe Alabama is the next best team in the SEC behind us and it's a pretty close margin. Still think we have the better bats but I do believe they have the tougher pitching staff. We will see how things shake up, exciting week ahead, weather permitting!

I would bet that pulling Berzon was a Rocha decision not a Gasso decision. I didn't think at the time it was a good idea. Parker may need to work on speeding her change up up a bit, it's so slow that they have time to recover and hit it some of the times But a win is a win.

Probably. We played all 3 last year. Texas and Arkansas may be permanent opponents. We played both of them last year and this year.

I read by someone on X that is a OU insider that Texas is not going to on our schedule the next 2 seasons, unless it's scheduled outside of SEC play. I think they said the same about Arkansas but that one I could be mistaken on.
