Softball

Did anyone else notice that they updated the '27 & '26 recruiting rankings recently? Boulware (#1 for '27) is reclassifying to '26, so she was bumped down to #7 for '26 and with that most of our recruits were bumped up. OU has the #1 class for BOTH '26 & '27 now, according to Softball America. That makes 4 #1 classes in a row, I believe. Talk about the future being bright!

Yeah, saw that. Man, this kid has been a lot of drama without even playing a single game yet. I truly hope she finds contentment with this decision and hopefully we will get to face her in 2027!

I saw on SoonerTimes that her mother went to or played for Texas. I didn't realize that.

Now she is saying she has been racially harassed since transferring to Texas.

I've been reading she got pregnant and had an abortion, people are being very cruel on X, but that's not surprising. Plus, her mother was a swimmer at UT, so there's a connection there already. I think we're good without her. It'll have been 2 years since she played or more by the time she can actually hit the field in 2027.

She is going to a worse situation. They have young established pitchers at Texas. OU is still up in the air who might be the pitcher or pitchers.

UT also lost their assistant coach, Singleton, in the off-season, so there's probably going to be some adjusting this season. The way i see it this could be one of their best teams (with this senior class they have), or they could struggle. Don't think they'll be defending their natty this in '26 though. I'll be shocked if Bordi is a factor for them in '27.
