Just for fun, see if you can guess a few:

1. What team in the Big 12, other than OSU, has the most all-time losses to OU?

2. Name the last OU coach who did not lead OU to at least a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA tournament.

3. What former Sooner is the all-time leading scorer at OU among non-Oklahoma natives?

4. Which former Big 8 / Big 12 member went winless against OU in league tournament play and also won only once in its history at the LNC?

5. Which former OU football coach also served as the head basketball coach?

6. How many OU players have recorded a game with at least 20 rebounds?

7. Of the 1,000-point scorers, four bordering states can claim at least one native son who is in the 1,000-point club. Name the states and the highest scoring player from each one (hint: one is Texas, which has several).

8. Name the OU player, also in the 1,000-point club, who was a standout tennis player at OU as well.

9. What OU freshman holds the record for most games played in his freshman season?

10. How many points did 2020 National Player of the Year Obi Toppin score against OU in a game last season, and what was the score of the game?

Bonus question: what game, listed among the largest victory margin outcomes for OU in the history of the LNC in the media guide, actually wasn't played at the LNC (it was the year before, in '75, the last year of the Field House)?

I need to clarify one question (about the 20-rebound games). I wanted to know how many of them have ever happened, and by an OU player.

Just for fun, see if you can guess a few:

2. Name the last OU coach who did not lead OU to at least a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA tournament. JOE RAMSEY

3. What former Sooner is the all-time leading scorer at OU among non-Oklahoma natives? CHAVANO HIELD

4. Which former Big 8 / Big 12 member went winless against OU in league tournament play and also won only once in its history at the LNC? eATMe

9. What OU freshman holds the record for most games played in his freshman season? TERRENCE MULLINS
These are fairly confident guesses, and all done off the top of my head.

Before I reveal the answers, I would like to make a second clarification. The "bordering state" criteria has to do with the player's native state, not where they played in high school.

Also, the geographic hint for that question: the bordering states are Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado and New Mexico.

Answers:
1. Iowa State (116 before this past season).
2. Joe Ramsey.
3. Buddy Hield.
4. Colorado.
5. Bennie Owen.
6. 25, including five for Blake Griffin and four for Alvan Adams.
7. Texas - Don Sidle; Kansas - David Johnson; New Mexico - Nate Erdmann. Buddy and Eduardo would have been at the top of each list for Kansas and Texas, respectively, but they were not native to those states. AMENDED: Corey Brewer is a career 1,000-point scorer, from Arkansas.
8. Scott Martin.
9. Terrence Mullins.
10. Toppin scored seven points against OU in a tournament game in November of 2018. OU won, 65-54.
BONUS: OU blew out Colorado, 113-62, on 1/18/1975. It is listed incorrectly in the media guide and in the game program, as a game played at the LNC. The arena didn't open until 12/1/75, when OU lost to Texas.
