Sherri has played several players in the early games trying to allow the cream to rise to the top. Yesterday, the game was fairly close until the end. In that game, only ViVi and T'ona played significant minutes which means Sherri basically went with a 7 player rotation. I think we may see similar playing times in close games going forward until Gioya returns then Sherri may go basically with an 8 player rotation in close games.

I think that the significant new thing that emerged from the BC game was the use of Edwards and Ortiz together. It seemed to me that the biggest weakness revealed in the first couple of games was the lack of team speed. This is where we miss Gioya. LaNesia should fill that need, but she seems to have a lot of problems with team play on offense. So T'ona can be that quick player we need at times. She is really the brightest new light this year. Much improved offensively, there's little fall-off when she subs for Gabbi and some nice quickness when the two are on the floor together. Add Peyton who has some deceptive quickness, and we have a very good perimeter.

I think we may see a lot of situational line-ups.

I think it's also significant that we faced two unbeaten teams whose strength was supposed to be inside, and it was our first and second string post players that both made the all-tournament team.
