Some video from Friday's Reunion festivities

Holy crap! Dave Bliss was in that video!

It's weird seeing Michael Cano all grown up

as great of a night as it was...hearing guys trade battle stories, t-mac, and watching gar heard and clifford ray share a lengthy conversation as i dreamed of what it would have been like to see them play...it was highly disappointing that half of the '02 team showed up. i really wanted to see ace. but hopefully word of mouth will get around to those who didn't show up about the fun players had reminiscing and hanging out. maybe that will get them to come out next year. it's such a fraternity, i think they'll realize it's more about seeing the other players and re-living the past more than anything else.

but i did enjoy classic kelvin on the mic, ragging on quannas about his voluptuous figure and his inability to catch the bus on time. fun night. can't wait for the game.

Try not to get too down about that...when OU honored the '88 team with a 20 year reunion, only half the team showed up for that as well. I believe Ricky Grace is one of the legends in Norman this weekend, but he didn't show up for the reunion 3 years ago. Perhaps it's still painful having been yelled at by Andre Wiley on the bus ride home that he "cost them the game" against KU. Who knows. Maybe certain players didn't get along; others may not be where they want to be in life...lots of possibilities. Just enjoy the festivities.

Kudos to our new coach for putting this together...seems like it's going to turn out better than anyone could imagine.

What a great video! I hope Houck and company captured the whole thing for Soonersports.com.

Some people just don't like reunions of any kind. Also, the 2002 team is getting old enough so that other obligations might interfere with their participating. Hopefully, this won't be the last even of this type and those who missed this one will be able to participate in the future.

It appears that the reunion is going to be a success. I'm glad Kelvin made it back.

I am very impressed with what Coach Kruger is doing. It is too early to predict how many games he will win but I really like the groundwork he is laying. I can't help but believe he will get us back on the right track and have a lot of success here.

I agree from a PR stand point the Kruger hire has been a home run. He track record from where he has been speaks for itself and I am sure he will have the program back in the NCAA tourny again soon

Why does everybody assume that b/c a player didn't show up, they didn't want to be at the reunion? These guys have lives too, and I'm sure in a lot of cases, they wanted to be here, but for one reason or another, simply couldn't. I have no idea what Ace is up to, or anything like that, but perhaps his situation simply didn't allow him the freedom to come today. No biggie.

all these posts, videos, and comments are so good...thanks to all.
:woot

I believed they announced that a lot of that team was playing in Europe or somewhere else out of the country. I was surprised as well but after the announcement, it was either during the 2002 team recognition or when they brought out the 1990's and 2000's players, it made more sense.
