Dom Raney
Josh Richardson
Phillip Jurick
Cezar Gurreuro
Jarion Henry
Elijah Carter

Where do we stand with all these guys?

Also what do any of you know about Blake nash a juco point guard and I also seen James Watson in the juco ranks who went to Oregon state or WSU I think from stringtown I think any chance he gets a look?

Dom Raney - doubt we go after him
Josh Richardson - same as Raney
Phillip Jurick - Good sign that he visited, dont think much happens on his recruitment till after his season
Cezar Gurreuro - I think we're in the lead.
Jarion Henry - Similar to Raney and Richardson
Elijah Carter - havent heard much, in his top 6 though

* this is just based on stuff I've read on here, twitter, rivals, etc/my best guess.

Kinda disapoints me about Richardson I would like to see more length and athleticism going into next year with the improvements we have made on man defense. Plus its nice having Oklahoma kids too. I know 2012 is a big year for recruiting though so I see the concern for room.

Based on Capel's recent interviews it seems the staff is dead set on a PG and a post. I think they're only going to take a wing if he's a go who will come in and contribute right away as a can't miss type.

Capel talked (on Hale's radio show last weeK) like 3 ships were going to be there and that the 3rd would only be used if there was a cant miss recruit or transfer was the option.

We're not recruiting Watson at this time. He's receiving interest from Iowa State and suprisingly Virginia, who has Tony Bennett, the former Washington State Coach. From what I've searched, the main two targets are of course Guerrero and Jurick, but Titus Ruble out of Independence Kansas would love nothing more than an offer from OU. Ruble played at God's Acadamy and is originally from the Dallas area. He's averaging around 17pts per game. If Jarion Henry qualifies, he will likely play for a Pac 10 team. He has Oregon high on his list. Jason Smith of Brewster Prep informed me that Elijah Carter, his 6'2 combo guard and leading scorer, will likely wait until coaching changes and transfers to see what roster fits him the best. OU is also recruiting a 6'10 2012 kid from Brewster named Mitch McGrady. One name to keep in mind is 6'2 pg Corey Wiliford out of Connors State. Connor's is ranked number one in Juco D1 and it's because of Wiliford. Many D1 coaches have been in to watch the Kentucky native.

Thanks guys it should be really interesting coming down the stretch seems like we are being picky which is a good sign in my eyes!

I think we need a big wing. I think Capel knows that because he hinted we needed the best available athlete. If we were to get Raney or the Doug Anderson kid that was posted a few weeks back, I'd be happy.

I hear ya. I'd also say that we WILL be getting length and athleticism next year in the form of Goff and Osby. Now, if Jeff can round out the class with a guy or two to add to that, then he's getting close to a good rotation of guys who are interchangeable.

Had not heard of the Wiliford kid - I'll have to look him up.

DM, that avatar is stinkin' hilarious. I saw that shot during the game and I thought - while funny - the fan might be a little old for that. Or maybe it wasn't his age but just, for some reason, the whole picture didn't quite fit. Kinda looks like my family doctor got off work, changed shirts and came to the arena to make faces at the opposing coach.

Oh, there's no doubt that it's immature for a guy that age to be doing that, but it didn't stop me from laughing 'til I cried. It just worked out so perfect with the camera angle that it almost seemed scripted.

i was pissed that the guy was being such a smart ass but looking back now it is funny
