I don't know about 99, but yeah, it would have not looked good for the Sooners. Would be interesting to see what would have happened with Taylor and Longar.

I think people underestimate that. Those guys along with AJ and Crocker were the cornerstone to what Capel has done. If he loses one of those guys, especially Taylor, OU would have really struggled.

I believe your observation is spot on, elmo. I think you would agree, however, that Capel is destined to sign some Top 30-type kids from outside this region. It's just a matter of time; perhaps TJ will be the first.
