Probably so. I'm a Capel fan and I do think he could have fixed things, but it would have taken more than just one more year. Plus, we just aren't getting the level of players that we should be.

He will beat a dying horse until it's dead, appearing to stick to his guns, but if that horse suddenly jumped up he'd jump on it's back and go for a ride. He would not have written this article if Capel hadnt been fired. He wouldn't print that Joe C made the wrong choice Keeping Capel. But since he's fired he'll talk about how jeff was a bad hire.
