Ryan's offensive game really dwindled over the last half of the year. He took, and made, a few 3's early in the year and seemed to have a lot of confidence in his jump shot.

Anyone have any insight on if he was injured?

Down the stretch, he just didn't seem like the same player offensively. With all the threads about the loss of Thomas and who might replace his scoring punch, I think a "healthy" Spangler might go a ways towards providing some post scoring - even though he is not your traditional back-to-the basket guy.

I strongly believe he was significantly injured and I completely agree with you second point.

I was thinking elbow or shoulder. But I did notice him whince with what looked like low back pain, when he got tangled up in a scrum against Albany, I think.

Would like to get his minutes down next year under 28 mpg maybe closer to 25. That will really help us come tournament time. I'm convinced that he was the key to our offense before he got hurt

Think we have no choice - that's 2 seasons in a row where Spangs really wore down during the stretch run. He looked so comfortable shooting the occasional 3 and finishing around the rim before whatever happened in the last 10+ games.

He was very aggressive on the boards and a threat to score from anywhere. Then it stopped. Had to be hurt becausehe works so hard to get better and he couldnt get better.

I agree
