We can see why he won the starting job at point. Only 2 turnovers in 71 minutes. That is excellent ball security.

It is, but he is also not really making plays as a PG either.

I disagree. The ball movement is good, the shots are open, the turnovers are low. Those shots will start falling.

It's not like last year when nobody was open, there was no movement and we jacked up contested shots in between our 20 turnovers.

It's kinda like the points Fitzgerald has gotten. Our competition has a lot to do with him getting 22 points a game. Although he had more solid games last year than Pledger did. I think Newell is the better point guard on this team. I've seen none of Blair so far in an actual game but I guess he's just not good enough. Or he has an injury nobody knows about. But Pledger seems more like a 2 to me. I hope he can actually start making more 3s. 4-15 just doesn't cut it.

He's done well, but when you're running the team it affects your shooting. We can't have the best shooter not in a position to shoot.

Im not knocking him. Hes doing the best he can out of his position. Im just saying its not like hes creating a lot for other people. Hes just bringing the ball up the court.
