Per our friends at SoonerNation, he is announcing tomorrow at 2pm.

I'm guessing the timing has to do with OSU picking up a guard commitment last week, and running low on available scholarships. Guessing he doesn't want to get left out of the local schools, with OU most likely not recruiting him at this point.

If the kid got home sick being in Vegas for a couple of weeks, he isn't going to far from home. I'd say 90% chance it's OSU, 10% Mizzou.

LOL, Clark could wait till August 7th, 2013 to make his decision and OSU would find a way to take him. They've wanted him badly for a while now and I think this timing has more to deal with his visit to Stillwater over this weekend than him worrying about scholarship space.

Who else is excited to see Stevie and Jordan go at it for the next 4 years

(Enter the Ford will run Stevie off joke right here)

Looks like he is locked on his schools. I for one hopes he goes somewhere else. Love to have him at OU.

I wish he would go to Tulsa. I wonder how impressive Danny Manning is in a recruits home.

I wouldn't care anymore if it weren't for the fact that his decision could affect his brother's. I'd prefer Stevie go to some distant basketball school.

I don't think his brother is good enough to worry about. He is good, and I hope he ends up at OU, but OU football doesn't typically have problems recruiting good DE's. OU currently has the #8 and #23 ranked DE's in the 2013 class committed, and Clark ranks outside of the top 25, best I can tell.

His brother will likely be the #1 or 2 player in the state of Oklahoma next year and top 250 nation. He is going to be quite good and it would definitely help OU to keep him local.

He's not 2013 but 2014, is why he isn't on a lot of rankings yet.

Deondre Clark is a 2014 recruit.
He will be a top five player in state,
and probably top 250 nationally.
LSU probably has offered already.

No... he's the most talented DL we've had in state since McCoy.

I like OSU's chances with Deondre if Clark does indeed choose OSU as they are really close. Doesnt hurt that Alonzo Mayes is his coach either

The mother seems like a pain in the neck, which is a shame since the younger son looks like he could really help the football program out.

What are you basing that on? The consensus seems to be that he's a surefire ESPN 300/Rivals 250 recruit.

It's rare for OU football to offer in-state kids as early as they offered Clark. How many Oklahoma kids can you name that have been offered by OU earlier than Clark? Whatever it is, I'm sure you can count them on one hand. They usually hold off for awhile on in-state kids, compared to out-of-staters. Clark also got an offer from LSU before the start of his junior year. That's not a program that is hurting for DEs. In-state recruits as talented as Clark don't come along very often. Losing him isn't going to cripple the program or anything, but it would be a big loss, relatively speaking.
