Thought it was interesting...Stevie Clark and his brother were arrested Friday night. Turns out they were in a car with "friends" who had drugs on them. Spent some time Friday night in jail. Interesting that no word was made of it...it has been kept very quiet. I am not a Stevie hater by any means, but the dark side he has been on keeps getting darker. By the way I have this info backed up by several family members. Too bad...OU got the best end of this in-state deal I assure you.

Im sure the family members that told you wanted you to run straight to a message board and post this. :clap

No, I'm sure they didn't, but it doesn't lessen the fact. I'm very curious how some people are always quick to get his accomplishments front and center, but the negatives...of which there has been a plethora lately...get slid under the rug.

Well, now we know Jurick was the one showing Stevie around on his official visit.

So a high school kid was in a car, and some people in that car had drugs on them, you say?

That's pretty shocking.

Somebody should inform 60 Minutes or something.

I'm sure if you had a HS son that was caught in a car with kids with drugs, you'd just chalk it up to bad luck.

:facepalm

I am not a criminal law attorney but that sounds like a bad arrest to me. If I am with a person that has drugs on them, I have not borken the law. Now if he was hanging out with kids that had some weed, he likely smokes a little weed but I really don't care about that. The kid is a straight A student and works very hard to be a great basketball player. He seems to have his priorities in order fairly well to me.

OP reeks of troll. You created an account here just so you could come report this?

I'm sure it didn't help that they were young black men of color in a state like Oklahoma...

Love how the OP says Clark's family told him. If you were close enough to his family that they would tell you this information, you wouldn't be posting it on message boards.

I just don't get the OU fans that seem to resent Clark. I wish he had gone to OU but he did not owe me or OU anything and everything I have ever read about this kids leads me to believe he is a really good kid. I think it is great to see a great athlete also be a straight A student taking AP classes. That is so much better than these kids that can barely qualify and have placed on their eggs in the basketball basket. I suspect Clark is going to be a very successful man regardless of basketball.

It would not be a bogus arrest, but the arrest can get dropped. Two of my cousins were in a car that got pulled over for running a stop sign. Both got arrested for the driver having drugs on him. They then never filed charges and struck the arrest from his record from the cousin without drugs based on accounts of both parties to the judge.

Depends on how the situation goes. If no one comes right out to say this is mine then everyone can get arrested. If after a little probing the cop finds out whose it is he can still arrest everyone based on no clear indication of who the drugs belong to. If someone steps up right away and says its theres. If they aren't the one driving then chances are only that person gets arrested.
