Pretty well done column. I am sort of surprised that Stotts' OU connection as an alum hasn't been talked up much in the OKC media.

I also hadn't realized that he hired "Johnny Mac" as an assistant coach. I knew John came aboard as a scout with Portland. I also never realized that Stotts was an assistant under Lon Kruger in Atlanta.

It was also kind of cool to realize that Terry came on his visit the same weekend as the Chicago concert at the LNC (in its first year of existence) in 1976. I was at the same concert myself.

I waited out all night for tickets to that show, not knowing my parents were giving me a ski trip for my birthday that would put me in Crested Butte on the day of the concert (they didn't tell me because they didn't want to spoil the surprise).

I ended up with front row center seats I never got to use.

This has been another episode of "A Sentimental Stroll Down Memory Lane," with your host, skyvue.
