Will be in attendance and with OU football coaches. He is between OU and LSU. Mom wants him at OU very, very bad. Please, help keep it clean with the chants directed toward him. During our time as students we chanted we want Reggie and we want Gerald. Both had great careers at OU. A we want Deondre would be great!

Before I get blasted on here, I can tell you I have sat in E3 for years. Even before my college years. Family has been season ticket holders for football and bball since before I was born. Dre is a big get for OU.

That said, I'm stoked for this evening. Can't wait! Boomer Sooner! Let's continue the beating at the LNC on the pokes!

Why would the students be on Stevie Clark. Virtually all of their energy should be focused on the flopper.

I think every arena in America should BOOOOOO every time Marcus Smart touches the ball.

Meh.

If Deondre can't understand why an OU crowd would give his brother a little crap during the game, he can go to LSU, IMO.

Still not a fan of this family. Mom's tweets this morning even rub me the wrong way. Always "wanting" something. Wanting handouts. Wanting attention. Wanting "the love". Sheesh.

Because he got busted for drugs twice and only missed a couple of games? Because his recruitment was said to be dirty and mom allegedly got a sweet new job via the aggie boosters. Because he is like 4'11? I dunno - you tell me.

All I'm saying is OU football better get his brother because that would be a shame to pass on some prime heckling for a guy going to freakin LSU.

Exactly. It's almost too easy.

She's asking fans to help her because she feels OU is best for Deondre, not LSU. Just wants fans to keep at him, along with OU coaches. She obviously doesn't feel right about LSU, even after getting back from OV. Nothing wrong with a mom trying to do as much as she can to help her son see what she feels might be best for her son. I'm a dad. I want whats best for my boy. Luckily, he's a year old and I have a while before all of this stuff. My mom and dad went through it both for my brother and I with football recruiting. Not on the level as Deondre, but it's stressful and parents get vibes. That's all.

I know he got in trouble but he only plays 16.7 minutes a game. Typically the crowd would focus on someone a bit more important.

Did she think OSU was best for Stevie? If so then I question her judgement.

That's how I feel. It's like his mom is the one being recruited. I'd be embarrassed if my mom was as openly involved in my recruiting on Twitter and other things in the public like his mom is. It's all publicity to her it seems.

Exactly. Steven Parker's father is heavily involved with his recruiting (as he should be), but you don't seem on social media saying those types of things. He is guiding his son from behind the scenes, as it should be.

I soured on that family some time ago.

You don't have to like her or them, but fact of the matter is, chanting rude stuff at Stevie Clark accomplishes nothing positive for the basketball team, and could hurt football recruiting. And who cares that you don't want them, the coaching staff wants Dre regardless of any hassle that may be involved. Clearly, they think he is worth "it", what ever "it" may be.

And why would Deondrei not take offense if people were ripping his little brother, especially with personal stuff about the drugs? Just because people make classless personal attacks regularly on athletes doesn't mean it should be acceptable behavior, or that you shouldn't be mad if it's directed at your family member.

Who cares if his brother comes to OU, after all it is OU, and we will fill up with other big recruits who won't have hurt feelings over their brother catching some crap for being an aggie. Compile that with his drug use and shady recruiting. I really don't care if he goes to LSU based on that reasoning. With family history, not sure you want that kind of apple in the program anyway.

This. All attention should be on the flopper. Also, I hope Lon's gameplan involves physicality with him from the start. Test his patience.

Not necessarily. I did a fair amount of heckling in my day and Stevie would be prime for the picking.

This kind of asinine post really pisses me off.

One, you're insinuating drug use to Deondre, when I haven't even heard rumors of it, let alone any confirmation. Should Deondre not be recruited because his brother messed up?

Two, when you insinuate his "shady" recruiting, you're implicating the OU coaching staff. Clearly they don't feel there is anything shady going on, or they wouldn't be involved and still recruiting.

Third, and most importantly, who gives a flying fart that YOU don't want him to come based on rumor and innuendo floating around about a 17 year old kid. The people whose opinions matter, the coaching staff, do want him to come, to the point that they are very aggressively recruiting him. So get over yourself, and let them do their jobs, rather than making declarations about the character of someone you've never met, and likely never will meet.

Really classy, bashing the mother of an OU recruit. You should be embarrassed, and you should delete your post rather than post it on a PUBLIC forum. If you won't do it, the mods should do it. Your personal attack wouldn't stand if against a poster on this forum, and it shouldn't for the mother of a recruit either.
