Sweet 16? Yes or No

im too cautious about declaring us a sweet 16 team yet.. i LOVE this team and i think were really talented and hungry, but i also expected us to beat SDSU last year too.. i need that first win!

Have to wait until the bracket comes out.

Would like to avoid Harvard and Nebraska.

Why? Those teams should want to avoid OU.

OU is a well balanced, deep basketball team. I don't see a single team in the country that OU could face in the first two rounds that OU can't beat.

Like others have said here, I'll wait till we see a bracket to go one way or another. I do think our defensive issues can bit us in the ass even as early as the first round. We are much better now than we were early in the season, but it's still a weakness. And if we match that with a down shooting game we could easily lose to a 12-14 seed.

Maybe, but, our defense will look a lot better against a 12-14 seed than it does against Big 12 competition.

Guard play is what we do well but I think our concern should be post presence which is something we DONT have.. But I feel confident we can wing it and stay afloat in the first two rounds. We have GREAT coach!

I really like this team. They all seem to mesh really well. They are a fun group to watch and they share the ball as well as anyone in the country. I see them advancing until they meet a team with a huge frontline. I think the sweet sixteen is extremely probable. I would even cheer for them if they did not have Sooners on their jersey.
