That is, if he was ever on an OU list. He committed to LSU last night.

“He decided to go LSU,” James Wright, Jordan’s father dad told Scout.com.

“He said that at the end of the day it really came down to his relationship with that school,” Wright added. “He’s been going down there for over two years with his brother.”

Mickey’s brother, James Wright, plays football for LSU.

Saw him play a couple of times and was not real impressed. No dissappointment here. Decent athlete, but not very skilled when I saw him.

Agreed. I liked what I saw of Mickey in the game I watched last year, except that he roams the perimeter too much for a kid his size. As I recall, his father said that he wants to play the three in college. If so, he'll have to improve his skills, especially his outside shot, to be successful at the next level.

That said, I'm sure our coaches would have been glad to have him if he had wanted to be a Sooner.

I thought we had a little inside track because his dad was Joey, former OU TE?
