Tech’s Moretti going the overseas pro route

Surprised this hasn’t generated any discussion. That’s a big loss for Tech, not many guys can shoot it like he can.

Big loss. They were probably a top 12 team with him. They were going to have the best backcourt in the conference with him, and the conference is loaded in the backcourt next year.

Agreed. That’s why I posted his departure to a new thread.

Tech would not have made it to the finals in 2019 without Moretti.

I don't think Tech has enough talent to survive all the losses they have seen... They were pretty average (and overrated) last year, and now they have lost some big pieces.

i think beard is a heck of a coach tho, with possibly some dubious practices in recruiting that may allow him to be right back at the top sooner than later.

And unfortunately, I'm sad to say, that i think it's likely with more success than OU, until we make a change

So much for that. They just got a transfer better than anything we have had since Trae.

Is he really? Has shot below 40% from the field in both seasons. We already have a guy that does that.

It’s a good get but this is an exaggeration. Last year he wasn’t better than James’ sr year, Manek, & isn’t close to Doolittle. Reaves & McClung are honestly very close.
