Tech vs OSU

Another atrocious half of basketball by the final four contenders.

There is something seriously wrong with OSU now, and it starts with Marcus Smart. He had 9 points on 2 of 6 shooting (0 - 3 from three) , 3 rebs, 1 assist and 2 turnovers in the first half.

He plays hard. He just doesn't play smart (no pun intended). I think he's trying to do too much. But maybe that's because he feels he has no choice. If Brown, Nash and Forte aren't carrying their share of the load, it's hard to argue with that line of thinking.

OSU wouldn't be in the game if they didn't shoot 15 free throws in the fite half.

OSU has been abysmal on offense. Most of that starts with Smart and his poor decision making. I will say that Tech is playing tough defense though. They're getting better every game. They might actually get over the hump in this one and get a quality conference win.

Marcus Smart has shot as many FTs as Tech has as a team. So right now that is the difference in this game.

As usual the refs are calling a foul on the defense every time Smart haphazardly puts his head down and plows into a group of defenders. It's a joke at this point.

Smart is 4-36 in his last 5 games... Good for a whopping 11% from 3 land

I wish Marcus Smart all the best in his NBA career but I just don't see how a team could use a lottery pick on him.

OSU is in trouble. They blew their 8 point lead and Tech now leads by 3. And, as if that wasn't enough, Nash and Murphy have 4 fouls each with more than seven minutes left to play.

I actually relieve smart has regressed so much to where he maybe te third est scorer on that team. Before the year being a laker fan I was excited thinking we could get him at 6-7-8 but now idk if he's a lottery pick.

Tie game with 3:30 left. Other than the bizarre officiating this one has been pretty fun.

Once again, Nash is allowed to do whatever he wants with the ball in his hands. Has he ever been called for an offensive foul?

He elbowed at least 3 people on a quadruple team.

If Tech holds on to this lead, the meltdown on the OSU board will be heard all the way to Norman.

Marcus smart just shoved a fan. Wow. I really can't stand this guy.
