Every B12 team gets one week where they get a week without a mid-week game. Texas has used the mid-week opening to schedule FSU instead of give the team some rest.

In the ESPN doubleheader, UConn took down South Carolina again, by 11. That's 100 in a row.

Schedules have a pretty big impact on the difficulty of the season, as we all know.

Texas actually had a 5 day window followed by another 5 day window shortly after. That is, they played on Monday, then Saturday. They are doing that again this week.

Our end of season schedule is extremely challenging. We play Texas this Saturday then over the next 9 days have 4 games - with 2 on the road. So, a game about every 2 days. Very hard. It is bookended by Texas at the front and Baylor at the end. In between those two bookends we play K State on the road (who is likely to finish 3rd or 4th in the conference) plus TCU on the road. I'm not sure how you could create a harder finish if you did it intentionally.

Fun game to watch. McCarty got a really good look at the end of the first overtime, I thought it would be over. Two very athletic teams.
